Question 1

Is CybaReady official CompTIA material?

Accepted Answer

No. CybaReady is an independent practice tool and isn’t affiliated with CompTIA. Every lesson, question and lab is original, written from the public exam objectives.

Question 2

Which exam versions does it cover?

Accepted Answer

CompTIA A+ 220-1201 and 220-1202, Network+ N10-009, Security+ SY0-701 and the new SY0-801, and CySA+ CS0-004.

Question 3

What are performance-based questions?

Accepted Answer

They’re the hands-on tasks on CompTIA exams: configuring firewall rules, reading logs, placing devices on a network diagram, or using the command line. CybaReady’s labs practise the same skills and check your work instantly.

Question 4

Do I need to install anything?

Accepted Answer

No. Everything runs in your web browser, on a laptop, tablet or phone.

Question 5

How long does a track take?

Accepted Answer

Each track has five to seven modules, each with a lesson, a knowledge check and several two-part labs, plus a capstone mission and timed exams. Expect several weeks of steady practice, not an afternoon.

Question 6

What happens when I get something wrong?

Accepted Answer

Labs tell you exactly what still needs fixing, and a hint button shows the next step. Questions you miss in quizzes and exams are saved to Practice so you can review them until you get them right.

Question 7

Is my progress saved?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Progress saves automatically as you go, and can sync across your devices when you’re signed in.
